Sara Katz and Ed Smith co-founders of Herb Pharm (which is celebrating 40 years in 2019) are also both founders of United Plant Savers. Our west coast celebration will be a day filled with talks and workshops. The following teachers are already onboard: Richo Cech, Rosemary Gladstar, Scott Kloos, Jane Bothwell, Matt Dybala, Autumn Summers, James Jungwirth, Mindy Green, Mark Disharoon, Jeff and Elise Higley, Ed Smith, and Thomas Doty, as well as United Plant Savers board members: Kathleen Maier, Steven Yeager, Bevin Clare, Helen Metzman and Kelly Ablard.
Topics to include: the herbalist path to sustainability, endangered plants in essential oils, creating an herb garden, substitutes for at-risk species, the ecology of seaweeds, bioregional medicinals and edibles, regenerative wildcrafting, and an array of plant walks around the Herb Pharm Farm and Educational Garden.

NOTE: A hydration station will be provided with water, tea and snacks. You are welcome to bring your own lunch or you can select a registration option below that includes a boxed lunch for an extra $12. Each lunch will come with a sandwich, side and piece of fruit. Be sure to indicate the Standard or Vegetarian option when you fill in your attendee information. The vegetarian option is also gluten & dairy-free.
JUNE 16TH — BOTANICAL ILLUSTRATION CLASS
Join us for a special Sunday Intensive! Kathleen Harrison of Botanical Dimensions will teaching "The Art of Seeing”, a botanical illustration class from 10:00am to 5:00pm. She will help us learn to truly look at a plant, fall in love with its form, and then draw it realistically, using graphite and ink. All materials will be provided. Class time is from 10am to 4pm. Bring a lunch, snacks and water provided. Class space is limited to 20 people. Cost $100.00.
